The Social Networking and eBusiness Conference 2008

Thank you for participating in “The Social Networking and eBusiness Conference 2008” scheduled on May 20-21, 2008 at the Grand Ballroom, Hotel Intercontinental Manila, Makati City, Philippines.

Please be informed of the following guidelines for smooth implementation of the conference:

· Our conference registration time will be strictly followed at 8:00 am to 9150 am. Please come on time.
· Mobile phones should be set in silent mode once you enter the conference room. Phone calls should be made outside the room.
· Parking Tickets are available at P150.00 (Valet Parking Only) for 10 hours duration at the hotel parking lot. Please inquire with our Conference Secretariat for the purchase of parking tickets.
· Our tea breaks will be served every 10:30 in the morning and 3:00 in the afternoon. We have overflowing coffee and tea located at the rear side of the conference room. Please feel to have your coffee/tea even during the sessions.
· There will be 15-minute Question & Answer (Q&A) Forum after each session. You can text your question to a designated number; or, you may also approach the nearest microphone, state your name, company, and ask your question.
· All presentation materials of the conference speakers are contained in the CD-Rom to be given to you on the 2nd day of the conference.

Blogbank @ Redbox 051208

I attended the monthly blogbank event a few days ago at Redbox, Greenbelt 3 and finally got my monthly earnings again. It was dubbed as “Gaming Night” with Blogbank bringing in a Xbox 360, Wii and Level Up! Games sharing its games to the bloggers.

Mimbo acquired

I finally was able to snag another premium wordpress theme, Mimbo by Pro Theme Design, and offer it along with the Wordpress premium Revolution themes to my clients. Mimbo is one of the better designed magazine layouts for Wordpress out there and i am proud to offer it and/or customize it for potential customers.

Thinking of moving to MediaTemple…

MediaTemple has been around the block a couple of times. They are one of the most known web hosting people on the web. Be it for Good or Bad reasons. I ws thinking of moving some of my clients over to media temple but here are a couple of things that turned me off:

Testing out Woopra

I just got an invite to test out Woopra a couple of days ago and finally got the time to install it and wait for the stats to come in:

Online banner ad market for blogs slowing down?

All 3 of the major advertising networks that cater to blogs have been surprisingly silent these past couple of months. I previously wrote that a boom may be in the offing as we’ve got not just one but 3 ad agencies competing for the same advertising pesotes of local companies.
