Online banner ad market for blogs slowing down?

All 3 of the major advertising networks that cater to blogs have been surprisingly silent these past couple of months. I previously wrote that a boom may be in the offing as we’ve got not just one but 3 ad agencies competing for the same advertising pesotes of local companies.

Fast forward 2 months later; Where are the ads?

Red Sight Media hasnt been active with their stable of publishers (i hate that 90 day payment terms ugh), Mad Crowd has also been silent (youre the first one out, show bloggers that you have the legs to stand up in this industry) and while BlogBank has one active advertiser, it pales to the reported tons of potential deals closed.

So what now, guys? Bloggers have supported you from the beginning yet we havent seen anything that would knock our socks off. Maybe if we waited until the Schoolyear starts….Hmm that might work..

maybe it’s an indication that a new one should arise or a collaboration between the 3 might work. just maybe :) i hope it won’t be the outsiders who’ll dominate the market soon. beware of nuffnang, advertlets, and others. let’s support our own!

hey bro, a new player would be counterintuitive at this point. theyre all fighting for the same piece of pie and look at the results.

but i agree, stay bloggers stay clear of advertlets, nuffnang and similar services.

Finally, I thought I was alone in making this observation.

Then again perhaps we should wait for the schoolyear to start. What if National Bookstore would team up with Auction.ph to advertise its products or it’s daring enough, launch an online affiliate program of its own?

Based on talks with some of the agencies mentioned, i think next month will be a better month for bloggers. =)

So right now there are no banner advertizers around.
Any recommendations?

alternatives wold be traffic based earners such as adsense or even kontera.or you might wanna try doing paid reviews but the rates are usually tied also to traffic and reach.
