Thinking of moving to MediaTemple…
MediaTemple has been around the block a couple of times. They are one of the most known web hosting people on the web. Be it for Good or Bad reasons. I ws thinking of moving some of my clients over to media temple but here are a couple of things that turned me off:
- Slow CS response times: it takes them literally 24 hours to answer one sales question. i hope their support is faster.
- Incomplete information: Why ask me to email for a discount when you can ive it to me automagically? Couple this with slow response times and you get frustrated as a customer.
- Poor reviews - There are a LOT of horror stories about Media Temple (especially their GS grid service) of the web and on forums such as WHT.
Looks like i need to find another alternative….
