Being a Pinoy Gaming Problogger
While it’s a lot of fun being a problogger, for me it is much better to be a recognized gaming problogger. Why? First of all, There are only a handful of bloggers who can legitimately claim to be an actual problogger and a hardcore beats-contra-with-no-deaths gamer at the same time. Secondly, (and the point of this article) is that you occasionally get contacted by companies whose games/engines you cover on a daily basis. I even got contacted by companies promoting anime titles.
Ever heard of Epic Games? Wizards of the Coast? Yep, I’m on their official press list contacted by actual company people. Thanks, guys.
Sometimes you even get free stuff sent to you. Or get exclusive information at the SAME TIME the bigger gaming sources get it. For me, that’s just awesome.
